Christine and I moved to Seattle last August so that she could attend
Seattle University. We've been together for four years. We just moved
closer to Seattle U and are walking (although a little long maybe) from
downtown and another pretty cool neighborhood. I'll be teaching at Seattle
Prepatory School next year; geom, honors geom, alg/trig. No kids but I too
would like to get a dog, still trying to work on that one.
....I'll try to attach a picture too, it's a couple of years old, but a
cute one. |

Funny you should ask. Another first for me: My first confirmed road
kill (I mean ever in my life).
I hit a mongoose.

|
I mean, I feel badly for the mongoose and it's extended family and all,
and I certainly didn't try to hit it. Quite honestly, those suckers really
are too quick to try to kill on purpose. It was just one of those freak
things where the mongoose decided to dart across the road just when I was
driving by. That guy was more likely to be hit by lightning than run over
by a car.
Oh well.
On the other hand, how many people can say they've even seen a mongoose
in the wild, let alone run over one in a Suzuki
Alto (Something like a cross between a Subaru Justy and a Matchbox
(tm) car). |

1.8MB)
in a series of me, risking life and limb to bring excitement to your otherwise,
dreary existence.
That thing IS an animal, not a plant (so I'm told).
Enjoy, and don't blink. |
